Green Toys Mini Vehicles have been recalled due to a choking hazard. The wheels and hubcaps on the toy cars can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.

This recall involves Green Toys™ Mini Vehicles, about 50,000 in the United States and 2,500 in Canada. The recalled toy cars are made of plastic and available in yellow, green, red, white and blue. The model name and numbers of the recalled toys can be viewed here.

The recalled Mini Vehicles were sold by mass merchandisers, grocery stores and independent toy and specialty stores nationwide and online from April 2012 to June 2012. The cars cost about $5 each or $18 for the set.

Consumers should take the product away from children immediately and contact Green Toys Inc. at (888) 973-3421 or visit the firm’s website at www.greentoys.com/recall to receive a full refund.
