Contours Options strollers have resulted in several serious injuries to both adults’ and childrens’ fingers.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety has recalled the Kolcraft Enterprises Inc. products as the hinge mechanism which is used to adjust the handlebars on the strollers presents a finger amputation and laceration hazard.

The recall involves about 36,000 Contours Options three- and four-wheeled strollers with model numbers starting with ZL002, ZL005, ZL008, ZL015 and ZL018 in various color schemes. The strollers were sold for around $150 – $160.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled strollers and contact the Kolcraft at (800) 453-7673 or visit www.kolcraft.com to receive a free repair kit.
