My son has had a rash on his neck for a week now and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. It’s like small white/red bumps. I’ve been putting A&D, butt paste, and baby powder every diaper change. What should I do?

Good for you to be watching your son’s rash closely. Since the rash has been there for a week, it’s time to call your son’s health care provider’s office. They will likely want to know if he’s ever had a similar rash in the past, if the bumps are raised or flush with his skin, if there is any liquid seeping from the rash, if he has a rash on any other parts of his body, and if he has any other symptoms. Your careful attention to your son’s physical condition goes a long way to keeping him healthy and safe.
