Breastfeeding Support via Social Media

Pick up your phone and ditch the mom guilt; moms who gain breastfeeding support through social media connections are more likely to breastfeed for 6 months or more according to a study published in Nursing for Women’s Health.

Especially during a pandemic, the authors observed that social media breastfeeding support groups helped new moms breastfeed exclusively to 6 months postpartum—no masks required!
