You may have heard that the nurses at AWHONN, the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, have a campaign called “Don’t Rush Me . . . Go The Full 40 Weeks of Pregnancy. This campaign is all about the importance of going into labor on your own when all is healthy and well for you and your baby, and it’s a campaign that gives 40 reasons to go 40 weeks, or at least the full 40 weeks.
